He has been an executive officer and/or a director with eight different companies, including several in the Fortune 1000. His time at the largest government agency in the world, the United States Postal Service between 2008 and 2010, featured service as President of the Mailing and Shipping Services Division, where he developed and marketed the Priority Mail Flat Rate box with the marketing tagline, “a simpler way to ship.”
His business career has been marked by leadership roles in many companies since it began in 1992, which means Bob Bernstock has gained recognition for his skills in a number of business areas, including leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, team building, organizational development, innovation, and change management.
Robert Bernstock strongly believes that it is critical for any business to always embrace change because that is how they develop greater efficiency and profitability. It is his experience with corporate strategies and best practices that has led to his selection for many boards of both public and private companies. In recent years, Robert has been the Chairman and CEO of USCI Company since 2014 and as President and CEO of Medical Services Associates, LLC since 2015. He has also been a consultant for Central Garden and Pet Company, which is a major marketer of branded lawn & garden and pet products nationwide.
